How soon can you visit?

Engineer visits are arranged at mutually convenient times usually within 7 days of your booking. Appointments are made during weekdays between 8am and 4pm. We will contact you by phone and/or email to agree a convenient time and date

What will it cost?

The price for the initial breakdown callout visit is £80.00 + VAT. If it is possible to repair your machine during the 1st callout visit, we will do so. If new parts are required we will quote for these parts then a charge of one hours labour for the second visit plus the part cost will be charged. It may take us a few days to get a fixed price confirmed especially if we need to place enquiries with our suppliers.

What if new parts are needed?

No problem! We take care of all the details for you, including ordering of parts and arranging a time to return and fit them.

What if I decide not to have it repaired?

You are not under any obligation to have the machine fixed! In this case, you will be charged just for the diagnosis visit.

When do I pay?

Payment is due on, or before the day of the visit, and can be made by cash, cheque or by card by calling our office

Can I cancel the visit?

You can cancel the booking at any time. All we ask is that you give us as much notice as possible if you change your mind! However if you cancel on the day of the visit, or have asked us to order parts for you prior to cancelling, then you may still be liable for the cost of these parts, and the call out.

Do I need to wait in all day for your Engineer?

We group appointments into geographical areas and our Engineers’ routes are managed to ensure that we comply with road safety guidelines. We will do our best to arrive within a 2 hour time slot of the allotted appointment, so there is no need to wait around all day.

What if the problem is not solved?

We will arrange for our Engineer to return, free of charge, if the problem is not solved. There are no hidden charges and no hourly rates to worry about, what we quote you is what you pay.

What if the problem can’t be fixed?

All faults can be fixed, but in some cases, it is simply not cost effective to repair a machine. If we feel that you could be throwing good money by having the machine repaired, then we will tell you and explain why. If you decide that your machine is beyond economic repair, our Engineer may be able to help you find a suitable replacement machine to suit your work out routine and budget.

Can you take my old machine away if I decide not to have it fixed?

If there is room on the van we will be happy to oblige, or may arrange with you, to collect at a future date. We do charge for the disposal of a machine, so please contact us if this is something that you require.
